This type has superior anti-wear properties and high rigidity. It consists of a spherical inner ring, an outer ring and a bushing of special copper alloy with superior run-in properties inserted in between. The spherical surface of the inner ring is chromium plated after heat treatment and grinding. This type is assembled with a shaft and a housing. When especially large radial and/or axial loads are applied, Spherical Bushings with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) treated inner and outer rings are recommended.
