These split-block housed units accept self-aligning ball or spherical roller bearings with adapter sleeves. Units have separate matched caps and bases. They are available in rugged cast iron with two bolt (SAF) and four bolt (FSAF) base designs. SAF housings are supplied with standard LER rings and a stabilizing ring that can be removed to convert the unit from fixed to floating design.
