IDC Select® double pitch drive chain provides an economical solution for drives where speeds are low, center distances are longer, and loads are low to moderate. The component parts of the chain are similar to ANSI standard chain, but the figure eight style side plates are twice the pitch of their ANSI counterparts. Double pitch chain is lighter, more economical, and tends to have a shorter wear life than the standard ANSI series. Drive series double pitch chain is designated with the prefix A.
