Lightweight, flexible high-pressure hydraulic hose with Gates XtraTuff Plus cover for demanding applications requiring superior abrasion and ozone resistance. Tested to 600,000 impulse cycles and engineered for reduced force-to-bend, MXT-XTP provides durable performance with easier routing and installation.

Gates 8MXT-XTP is a flexible high-pressure hydraulic hose with a 1/2 in inside diameter, 0.795 in outside diameter and 4000 psi maximum working pressure. The hose combines MXT lightweight, low-force-to-bend construction with Gates XtraTuff Plus cover technology for increased abrasion and ozone resistance. It uses a nitrile tube, high-tensile steel wire braid reinforcement and a nitrile/PVC synthetic rubber cover. Rated from -40°F to 212°F, it meets SAE 100R16, ISO 11237 R16 and EN 857 2SC performance requirements and is compatible with Gates MegaCrimp couplings. Tri-State Bearing sells this hose by the inch, allowing customers to order only the length required.
