Grids for T10:T20 series-close coupled double-flexing couplings. FALK® Steelflex® grids or grid members are the serpentine shaped alloy spring steel that connect the hubs and transmits torque between the coupling hubs. It is normally considered to be the wearing item in the coupling. A grid maybe a singular hoop or consists of multiple segments forming a circle dependent on the size of the coupling. Current grid members are shot peened for maximum fatigue resistance and torque transmission capability.
