Clarion Food Machinery Grease No. 2 is a smooth, buttery adhesive grease designed for food-processing, packaging and bottling line machinery where incidental contact with edible products may occur. Formulated with high-purity white mineral oil and a robust anhydrous calcium soap thickener, the product exhibits exceptional resistance to water wash-out, low oil separation, and strong thermal and mechanical stability from 0 °F to 275 °F (-18 °C to 135 °C). It is certified to meet FDA 21 CFR 178.3570, registered NSF H1, and meets NSF/ANSI standards 60 and 61 for drinking water systems. With clear/slightly clouded color, neutral odor, and non-pigmented, non-staining texture, Clarion No.2 is an excellent choice for food-contact-safe lubrication of conveyors, bearings, enclosures and gearboxes.
