CITGO Cylinder Oil 400-5 is a compounded industrial lubricant formulated with high-viscosity-index base stocks for improved metal adhesion and lubricity. It is designed for steam cylinders, gas compressor cylinders and certain worm gear drives, providing lubrication even in contact with steam at low-to-medium pressures. CITGO also recommends it for natural gas compressors with separate cylinder lubrication, particularly where high-moisture natural gas is processed. The 400-5 grade has a typical viscosity of 390 cSt at 40°C, 28 cSt at 100°C and is classified as AGMA 7 Compounded.
