The CM Series Rod End is engineered for reliability and durability, featuring a robust 2-piece construction ideal for various mechanical and industrial applications. The ball is crafted from 52100 steel, heat-treated to a minimum hardness of Rc 56, and hard chrome plated to ensure excellent wear resistance and smooth operation under high loads.The body is made from low carbon steel, which is zinc plated and chromate treated to provide superior protection against corrosion and environmental factors. This series offers the option of a PTFE liner, enhancing the rod end's performance by reducing friction and wear in demanding applications.For added flexibility, studs are available, and an optional lubrication fitting can be included to meet specific maintenance requirements. However, it’s important to note that male rod end load ratings are based on configurations without a lubrication fitting. For load ratings with a lubricator, customers are advised to consult FK Engineering for precise data.
