The Polymeric Flange Sealant Hi-Str Flex (PFS) is a top-quality solution for replacing conventional gaskets on metal surfaces. This sealant cures in the absence of air, offering exceptional durability and reliability. It will not shrink, tear, or crack, and ensures maximum face-to-face contact between mated parts, which enhances the integrity of the seal. PFS provides an instant seal at low pressures and fully cures within 1 to 8 hours depending on part configuration and clearance. The sealant's unique formulation eliminates the need for retorquing flange bolts, as it does not undergo stress relaxation, maintaining a strong and consistent seal. The sealant conforms to surface imperfections and tool marks, allowing for a precise metal-to-metal fit and improving the sealing integrity. It is compatible with fuels, solvents, hydraulic fluids, and oils while remaining chemically resistant when cured. With a temperature range from -54ºF to 350ºF and excellent chemical resistance, it is ideal for demanding applications. Note that this product is not recommended for use with pure oxygen systems.
